Terrain Difficulty: Easy (flat, 100 yards RT)
Status: alive
The town of Wimberley is located at the confluence of Cypress Creek and the Blanco River nestled in the heart of scenic TX Hill Country. Sitting atop the Edwards Plateau where a huge variety of natural fauna can be found and wildflowers abound, it’s a perfect place for anyone who loves nature. The climate and setting make Wimberley a desirable place to live and a favorite vacation getaway, and those that come swear they have discovered a little bit of heaven. There is even a mural of this sentiment on a building in Wimberley Square. You can find your own heaven, and this box, on the trail at Saint Mary's Meditation Park near downtown. This is a new stamp and location than the first box that went missing so consider it a new one.
Directions:
From the mural in Wimberley Town Square go north on RR 12 about 0.8 mile and turn left on Palos Verdes Dr. Go about 100 yards to Park on right and park near trail head.
Clues:
Walk through gate and go right at fork in trail. Continue as it bends left and stop at bench by large tree and sign saying "Jesus Falls The Third Time". Go behind bench 6 steps to multi-trunk cedar tree and find minibox at back base under a rock and needles. Please be discreet and replace as described.
Hike length: 0.1 miles
