My youngest son Leif chose this nature center as the hiding place for his stamp because Capt. Scratch his pet turtle actually came from the neighboring high school. He adopted a sliding turtle and it became his
First real pet. His turtle passed away recently and he was heartbroken. His stamp signifies his turtle and his name with the symbol below
It. The bonus stamp he carved in honor of his older brothers first year in track and field.
To find these boxes you will need to locate the Mark Montana nature center located on the south end of the Northern Ozaukee schools campus. You can park on Martin drive by the dental and eye office or park Along side the road next to the nature center.
Head to the main nature center sign. From this sign take the trail right past the bench. At the fork go left. Then left again at next trail. Before the boardwalk at pond look for 10 trunked trees to your right. You have found Leif and Capt. Scratch. Now walk over the boardwalk see any turtles? Pass marker 10. Shortly after look to your left for a civilized wildlife birdhouse. It is bright Yellow. Look to its base. You've found Torrins track. Stamp up and rehide well.
