Rotary Park has a kids-only fishing pond and a playground. The park is a fine place to launch your kayak or sit and watch the freighters pass. It is located next to the Sugar Island Ferry and Clyde’s. Clyde’s drive in is a UP favorite and one is located between the ferry and the park. Stop by and have a bison burger and a malt.
Once you have found a place to park, wander around and explore. Find five large seats in a row. They are a great place to sit and watch the ships. You will notice some riffraff along the river. Notice a very large piece of “urbanite”. Your treasure is using it to hide from the elements.
