Fiumelatte (river of milk), which is only 250m long, is the shortest river in Italy. The river flows for only six months a year, a cascade of bubbling white foam that inspires its name. It springs from a cave in the rock that has had several famous explorers including Leonardo Da Vinci. You can see it after finding this box nearby.

Directions:
From Piazza San Giorgio go south on road about 50 meters to parking garage on left and park.

Clues:
Walk left up small road (Greenway Dei Patriarchi) and stay on it (lower road) at next jct to cemetery at end of road. Go up steps on left and walk on path behind cemetery to stone pillar on left near green pole. Go left up 5 steps then bend right 8 steps behind pillar to tree leaning over you on left out of a rock wall. Look behind tree 1 meter high on top of roots in crevice for minibox under rocks and leaves. When done, go back down to path by green pole and continue about 100 meters to the river.

Hike length: 1-2 miles
