Laurel Grove is one of the first Cemeteries which served Enter the small road leading into the cemetery and drive slowly up the hill; Take advantage of seeing the headstones marking the lives that have gone before us. Some are so worn that they can no longer be read. Some are buried in the over growth of foliage. When you reach the top of the hill turn left and follow the road back down. Look for a blue Cannon. The inscription reads," Our Country Defenders 1861-1865". Turn around facing away from the cannon and look for the obelisk pointing to the sky. Walk towards it. Find the name "Swaney". To the right of it lies your treasure in blue.
