The KarateKids have Summer Camp at Bushido Karate Center every year. As part of our camp, we bring a picnic lunch to South Carter Street Park and enjoy a nice mid-day break. Before returning to the Karate Center, we always take a small hike through the trail at the southern part of the park. To commemorate the fun we had this summer, we have planted this box along this trail. We hope you have as much fun finding it as we have had this summer. After you find the box, you may want to return to the front of the park and enjoy your own picnic in the pavilion and play on the playground.

To find this box, pass the main park (where the playgrounds are) and continue on South Carter Street. Park in the top Parking Lot right near the Trail. Stand in front of your car and face the trail. Turn to your right and start along the trail. You will know you are headed in the right direction if you shortly come to a cross. At the cross, there will be a picnic area to your left and a trail to the old wooden bridge on your right (after finding the box, you may want to check out the bridge - there is a great view of the CalfKiller river from there). Continue down the trail and you will come to a sharp turn. After making the turn, you will find some "doors" to where the "ninja turtles train". There are small doors, but only one TALL door. When you come to the tall door, look up. Find the "bright ideas" and go to the SECOND one. Once there, turn around and head back toward the tall door 17 paces. What you are looking for will be under a rock ledge.

Be sure to use your best ninja stealth skills when retrieving the box. This trail is a popular walking area in the early mornings and later in the evenings. Be sure that you put the box back carefully and hide it well. If you don't, it will be visible from the trail - and we don't want that!

Happy Hunting!
