This is our first carving and letterbox! We decided to hide it here as this is the location of the first letterbox that we have discovered on our journey.
Goto LaBoiteaux Woods. Park in front of the nature center. Be sure to stop in and learn something new! You'll definitely want to ask them for a little help in finding the wishing tree.
Clue:
When you follow the trail, stay to the trail that leads to the right. You will go right twice. Go left when you see the blue post. There are two ways to get to this. If you find the "easy" way before you park, take that trail. The tree is on the same side as the ravine. When facing the tree, turn around and look down in the weeds. Under a rock is where you'll find what you seek.
Special note: Please be sure that the latches on the box latch completely shut. This is a nice sized box and would be hard to miss once you find the rock. There is also a first finder certificate inside! Please message us if the box needs some help. Thank you!
