Puterbaugh Gardens is a local favorite for pictures, picnics, and events. These gardens are located by the home of J.G. Puterbaugh, who was an area coal business founder.
This park is located on 5th and Adams. Enter the park through the main parking lot, enjoy the scenery and the beautiful landscape. Then make your way to the rock staircase, follow the path to the stone benches. There should be 2 stone benches in a cleared area, with a smaller rock staircase to the left with metal railings. Have a seat and enjoy the gardens. Facing the stone bench, you will see a clearing. Go to this clearing and turn back to the bench, you will see a rock wall covered by vines. Look through the vines and you may find just what you are looking for. Watch out for the snake, is there one or is there more?
**Please bring your own pen, stamp, ink pad, and notebook. **
