Your journey to find the Yahr park box starts at Leonard j Yahr county park outside of west bend. It's a beautiful park with a small lake. A place my son loves to find turtles. This box is dedicated to all of the fun days we've shared here turtle hunting. Park in the shelter 3 lot. You will be facing the pavilion. Walk to the corner post of the pavilion closest to the lake. You will notice 2 v shaped birches. Walk in between them. To your right look for the Prarie trail It will be the trail farthest from the waters edge. The lake will be to your left as you walk. At the trails first bend you Will see a broken y. Keep walking. You will see the Prarie trail sign to your right. Walk past it and stay in forest. You will walk past a tree on your right that has metal bands on it. A sign? When you get to the trail fork ,STOP!!. You will see a log in between 3 trees at the fork. Look under it. Stamp up and rehide well. Follow trail back down to lake edge and back up to lot.

Hike length: 0.5 miles
