This letterbox was planted by Girl Scout troops # 4205 and #4085. Scouts love to learn new things and explore the amazing world around them. They went on an adventure to both find and plant a letterbox.
Directions: Traveling east on Peoria St in Washington, turn left onto Wilmor Rd at light. Take first right onto W Jefferson. Travel straight through 3-way stop passing Washington Community High School. Continue on W Jefferson to second 3-way stop. Take left onto Lincoln and look for Lincoln Grade School on right. Pass school and take left into gravel, single row parking lot. Head straight down slight hill toward pavilion. Pass pavilion and wooden bridge on right. Go over concrete bridge with double culverts. Once over bridge, take right on trail. Look for Wildlife Enhancement sign between the bird houses (if you come to wooden bridge, you've gone too far). Upon finding sign, turn your back to it and find the triple trunk tree. You have arrived!
