We did a volksmarch called Spring Fever in Murphy that was on the Maxwell Creek Linear Park. So I fixed up a box to leave behind.
I did not check for Geocaches in that area before doing this. This linear park has 10 caches... and my box. Hope it doesn't get found by mistake.
There is no parking for Maxwell Creek Linear Park. So park at the Racetrack gas station at 313 E. FM Road 544 in Murphy.
Walk down Maxwell Creek Road crossing the RR track to the trail start on the right. Cross a footbridge and continue to a fork in the trail.
Take the trail to the right and cross another footbridge. From the end of that bridge count 52 steps.
Turn left and push your way through the branches for about 15 steps.
Look left in the fork of the tree for the camo taped box. Please wedge box back securely, but don't break it.
