Optional, but fun: Bring a hardcover or paperback book to trade in the neighborhood book-sharing library.

The address does not correspond to a specific house, but will merely bring you close to the corner of Rosewood Ave. and Santa Clara Ave. in Santa Ana's West Floral Park neighborhood. You'll be walking a couple of blocks through this wonderful neighborhood to find the prize. You can drive, too, but I recommend the walk.

Don't do this one after dark out of respect for the neighbors. It's not an issue of safety -- this is a great walking neighborhood -- it's more an issue of not alarming the non-Letterboxers.

From your parking spot on Santa Clara avenue, you'll head east one block to find a street that shares its name with the neighborhood that contains UCLA. Head north and you'll soon come to a street that shares its name with a car Buick used to sell. Walk to the right (east) once more until you find a street that might describe a tourist if you use to to complete the phrase "Out-of- _____" and head south.

After you pass the first couple houses you should see your target on the left (east) side of the street. The homeowner has placed this here to encourage book-sharing, and has allowed me to place this letterbox/geocache inside. Look behind the books on the upper level. Everyone will assume you're looking at the books, so there's no need for stealth. Please don't come late at night, though.

Have fun!

PS: You can retrace your steps back to your car or you can continue south on the Letterbox street until you get back to Santa Clara. Turn right (west) to head back to your car.
