Stamp of a Stamp

This is the very first time we have hidden a letterbox, and we are so excited for you to find it!

From Highway 1, exit on Windsor Boulevard and head toward the ocean. Immediately after the bridge, look to the left and park in the dirt parking lot.

Look for the Santa Rosa Creek Trail sign. If the sign refers to the Terminator, you will know you are headed in the right direction.

Proceed down the trail and go past the chain link posts. Depending upon which way the wind is blowing, you may encounter an "interesting" aroma. Do not despair for it will pass.

Look for a manhole cover sitting on a rounded concrete base. Continue on the path and you will come to a hill.

About halfway up the hill start looking to your right. Look for a cantilevered structure. Below it you will see two large tree stumps. Let your eyes come down the hill from the stumps to about eye level. Look for some rocks nestled in among the ivy and roots. There you will find our treasure!

Please make sure you replace our box well for the next people to enjoy. Happy hunting!

The Santa Rosa trail is part of the historic Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and will eventually lead you into the town of Cambria should you decide to continue after you have found our letterbox. If you'd like to walk along the ocean, continue on Windsor boulevard around the bend and you will come to Shamel Park.
