On April 2, 1902 The Paisley Hotel celebrated its grand opening. And my, what a splendid evening was expected. They had even formed a committee to plan the days events. All hacks & carriages were in constant attendance during the entire night to meet all trains as well as to carry all residents of Yale to and from the entertainment..

Supper started at 6:00 pm with all of the dining rooms staying open till 1:00 am or until all were fed. The program entertainment began at 9pm in the hall on the 3rd floor. I myself can't help but wonder what the entertainment was like in 1902!

The hotel itself was built in 1901 by Jerry B. Paisley and offered all the newest amenities. There was a steam system for heat and every room lit with incandescent lamps. The hotel operated on the American Plan. And rates were $2.00 a day!

After many years and new owners, it became known by its new name, The Yale Hotel.

Please find your way to this historic place and once inside, enter the room to your right.
Ask the cashier ‘if the hotel rooms come with a chamber pot?’
You never know what you might get!

Clue: 3 moves to the final stamp.
