Oct. 2, 2015 marked 65 years since Charles M. Schulz's first Peanuts strip hit newspapers. Since then, Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the gang have become some of the most recognizable cartoon characters in America - and have left an indelible mark on American culture. In addition to the strip, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the gang appear in multiple TV specials including A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving... and really, what's more American than The Peanuts gang and a Great Thanksgiving?

After being humiliated yet again by Lucy at their traditional Thanksgiving Day football game, Charlie Brown decided it was time to head home and start what was sure to be an awful turkey dinner.

Charlie Brown made his way to the path behind the buildings hoping to catch the Railroad North. Just his luck, it doesn't look like any trains are coming by soon so he'll have to walk. Charlie Brown crosses a bridge and turns left staying along the Railroad.

After he passes a pond, Charlie Brown hears Peppermint Patty and Marcie up ahead. Wanting to avoid more humiliation (or being called Chuck), Charlie Brown takes a right onto a NeW Trail.

Charlie Brown comes upon a trail decision where he sees Woodstock flying left down the same NeW trail and decides to follow to see where he is heading.

Woodstock leads him past a tree that looks like it would make a perfect Christmas tree... "I won’t let all this commercialism ruin my Christmas. I’ll take this little tree home, and I’ll decorate it" he thinks... but since it's only Thanksgiving he'll have to come back another time. At the wooden sign, Woodstock flies off to the right and Charlie Brown follows.

Charlie Brown continues down the trail, over another bridge, and reaches a "Trail Closed" sign. He wonders what might be up that trail but since the trail is closed and Charlie Brown is not one to break the rules, off to the right he goes.

Staying on this path past many deer trails, he passes a marsh area on the right, and then wooded areas on the left. He finally finds himself at a decision and follows Woodstock to the right.

As Charlie Brown continues to walk he loses sight of Woodstock and comes to the end of a wooden path that led him right to a lake. What a beautiful sight here in America, and if he is not mistaken he clearly smells turkey cooking.

Turning around from the end of the wooden path he's sure there are about 100 steps back up the path before he gets a clear line of sight to dinner. After counting off those steps a tree stands directly to the right of Charlie Brown. He sees an oVen that is set at 300 degrees. He walks over and looks in the middle of the oVen to find that Snoopy has finished the turkey and it looks wonderful.

After stamping in, please place the turkey and all it's fixin's back in the oVen and make sure it's covered "ROCK" tight to stay fresh for the next guest.
