Spanning more than two miles along Oyster Creek, the Edible Arbor Trail offers a nice walk or bike with a variety of fruits and nuts for refreshment. The plants were chosen because of their ability to withstand the harsh Texas environment and total over 200 trees. This series of 5 boxes will allow you to sample (literally) a portion of the trail, and it starts at Mosley Park. The first box contains the only logbook.

Directions:
From Hwy 6 go north on FM 1092 (Murphy Rd) about 0.5 mile and turn right into Mosley Park and park at far southwest corner of lot.

Box 1: Logo
Walk west into woods on faint path for 25 steps, then go right 10 steps to large multi-trunk tree. LB is within trunks 4 feet high under a rock and leaves.

Box 2: Mulberry
Walk east on hike/bike trail, going under overpass as trail bends north, to mulberry grove sign. Continue 20 steps, then go left 15 steps to large tree. Microbox is at back base under rocks. Please be discreet.

Box 3: Pomegranate
Continue north on trail a short way to pomegranate grove sign. Continue 20 steps, then go right 3 steps into gap between pomegranate bushes. Go to bush on left and find microbox within trunks under a rock. Please be discreet.

Box 4: Pear
Continue north on trail to Pear grove sign across from a bench. Walk behind bench 25 steps up to just before fence, then go left 10 steps to a medium tree. Microbox is at back base under a brick and leaves. Please be discreet.

Box 5: Pecan
Continue north on trail to Pecan grove sign across from a bench. Go back 40 steps, then go right 5 steps to back side of large tree. Microbox is at base under a rock and leaves. Please be discreet.
