For many years now it has been said the cemetery in Memphis, MI is haunted. As I suppose most cemeteries are. The most well known grave here is the Witch's Ball at the far back NW corner of the graveyard. Voices can be heard, faces seen and the big black marble ball is even said to move! We didn't want to upset any spirits or have them follow us home so we didn't plant the box next to the family plot. But you can't leave this sacred ground without seeing it of course for yourself, right?

So if you are brave enough, make your way to Memphis MI and find the cemetery. Memphis MI is located on M-19 between Richmond and Emmett.
Take the dirt drive farthest North. You will know you are on the right road if off to your right you see a tall tombstone with a solider on top of Hiram Hall. From the stories I've heard, this is also haunted.
Continue on back past the stone for Anson S Welch that looks like a tree and then again Felker.

You are almost to the Witch's Ball! So NEWCOMER, don't say you haven't been WARNed.

There, right up ahead is the family plot for Miller and the large black marble ball. Take a look.. can you see faces? Now after paying your respects look to the North for Lovejoy. Right along the tree line to the right is a girthy stump. Inside the stump you find your own witches ball. Hopefully this is the only Witch that goes home with you!

And as always please rehide well in the smaller of the stump holes and place the bark back in the hole.

Happy Haunting's!

Prefer you stamp in orange. :)
