This is a great search to bring your dog along on. What better feeling than literally unleashing your pup into the woods and letting them be free!?

Start at the Town of Wilson fire house park. Walk down Indian Mound Rd going west. You'll reach the bridge that overlooks the Black River. After taking a gander, keep walking a short piece past that bridge. You will see a sign in the wooded area on the left side of the road marking a path. Walk this path until you reach a small creek and cross the makeshift bridge of planks. Once across, look to your left. You'll likely notice a deer path following alongside the little creek. If you are unable to discern where this path is, just follow along the water going east, all the way to where it meets the Black River. A dead tree stands right where the two rivers meet. Inside the rift in the tree you will find your letterbox!

P.S. If you are so inclined to keep walking, you may certainly disregard the invasive 'PRIVATE PROPERTY' barricades...everyone else does--the paths you are walking are actually on public waterline property. They are meaningless and you may continue enjoying this beautiful woods all the way to the state park located south of these paths!
