Instead of dodging the chipmunks on the slide, walk over to the Zephyr Lift and look for the Ute Trail. Lining up the trailhead sign with the third tower of the Zephyr Lift will point you to a grove of trees. Hike up to this grove and look for the letterbox under the tree farthest from Sunspot.
