Distance: 9 Miles round trip
This box is located on the trail to the summit Mt. Timpanogos from the Timpooneke Campground parking lot. This is before the climb to the summit, so not as difficult as full hike would be. GREAT views and meadows!!!!!
Directions:
From Orem, take Hwy 92 (Timpanogos Highway) to right turn for the campground, turn right and go to big parking area on left and park.
To the Letterbox:
Take the trail toward the Summit. It will climb through multiple meadows and up multiple head walls. Once you reach the trail junction sign for Trail #54 and #52, take trail #54 and count 40 steps. Look right up the hill about 5 yards for square 2 foot rock. Box is on front side under edge, with rock in front. Be sure you put back well!!!!
