From Colchester take Norwich Avenue toward Norwich. Continue on to the Lebanon town line. From the town line, drive 1.4 miles to Camp Moween Road on your right. Take Camp Moween Road and follow it until it forks. Take the left fork (Reservoir Road:Colchester). Park in the small lot at the edge of the lake. Pass through the yellow barrier into Camp Moween Park. Walk by the house on Cedar Point and follow the trail into the less developed part of the park. Continue straight. You will come to a secondary trail going off to the left. Stay on the main trail keeping the lake on the right. The trail is heading south at this point. You will pass an old paved area on the left with a multi-trunked tree growing in its center. Stay on the main trail to the left. At the next junction stay on the main trail which bends left into an "S". Pass another paved area on the left and continue on the main trail to the right. You will soon pass an abandoned car on the left side of the trail. About 400 feet from this car, there will be an additional two abandoned cars on the right. Soon after passing these two cars, look carefully for an old foundation with a stone structure in its middle. This foundation will be on the left side of the trail. Enter the foundation and go to the east side of the central stone structure. Mary's letterbox will be on this side about 5 feet up from the ground.
If you are coming from Norwich get off Route 2 at Exit 22 and turn right. At the stop sign turn left to Camp Moween Road which will be a left turn. Then, follow the above directions.
Fritz's Letterbox is hidden near here. You might like to locate it on the same trip.
