Start at the playground. With the pavilion on your left, look for a trail head to the left of the service road. There is a tick warning sign marking the opening. Follow this trail, you will eventually start noticing green trail markers. The path runs alongside a pretty stream. As you walk along, you will notice a broken tree, followed by a small side trail that leads down to the stream, and then on the right a tree with a double trunk or y shape. Once you pass this last tree, the trail will widen a bit and you are looking for a tree with a hole in the side that looks like a bear paw. Another small Y tree marks the spot. If you go by the green trail marker on the dead tree with high knot hole you have gone too far. Happy finding!
