This series was planted in conjunction with North Branford Trail Day in 2015. There is only one logbook.

WARNING: A festival is held at this park on the first weekend of August, blocking access to the area.

Find the white farm house at 298 Forest Road (Rt 22) Northford, CT. This farm house belongs to Totoket Valley Park. If you approach from the south you will pass the Police Station and ball fields before coming to the white farm house on your left. Coming from the north, it is the next dwelling on the right past DeFrancisco's Farm Market.

This farm house has a duel drive. Make your way to the gate to the left of the white barn.

Follow the double track farm road down the hill to a bridge. Motor vehicles are not allowed beyond here, so park your car. Walk toward the bridge but do not cross. Find a passage way on the right, next to a tree bearing a sign prohibiting motorized vehicles. Walk down toward the stream. Find 2-sister tree close to the bridge with a trap door concealing your prize.
While you are here you may wish to go a bit further to a rocky bar where you can enjoy the view looking under the bridge. There is also an interesting grape vine.
Retrace your steps back to the farm road and cross the bridge. Follow the farm road up the hill until you come out at an open field. Take a left turn here, following along the tree line.
When the trail is about to take a right turn, look to your left for an opening into the woods. Enter the woods here. Immediately you will see a magnificent Tulip Tree on the right. From here, take 12 steps further along the trail. Look to your right and see a blowdown with a hole. Investigate that hole for your second prize.
Continue walking on the trail in the same direction. Soon the trail takes a dip. Right here, you will discover an unmarked path on the right. Take it.
A well-traveled trail will enter from the left at the same time you come upon a big Tulip Tree close to the right side of the trail you are following. Stand next to this tree, then take 18 steps forward on the trail. Stop and look left through the bushes. Find a wonderful Wolf Tree, a perfect tree for our owl. He did not settle up in the tree, however. Look for him hiding under bark and twigs at the base of the tree.
