This letterbox is located in the Marine Recruiting Office in the Temple Colonial Mall. The stamp is in honor of my nephew, Liam O'Flaherty, who served our country and to all military members on Armed Forces Day 2015.

Directions: From I35 in Temple, take the Hwy 363 exit and head east. Take the 31st St exit which is where Colonial Mall is located. Go in any entrance of the mall and locate the Military Recruiting Offices, then the Marine Office inside. Offices are generally open Monday-Friday until about 5:00. In some instances the recruiters are not there if they are recruiting outside of the mall.

When you enter the Marine Office, visit with one of the 2 recruiters about the items in the glass-top coffee table. You must tell him what “semper fidelis” means and then he will reveal the location of the box. Please take care and return it as you found it. If there are any problems with the box, please report them to me on the website where you found this info.

Be sure to tell any of the Military recruiters “thank you” for their service!

Hopefully you will be able to take some time to enjoy the mall, a meal and maybe the new IMAX theater. Thank you for taking part in this special military letterbox!
