This letterbox is part of the GO and Find Your Hero! program in York County, PA. It will be available from May 30, 2015- August 16, 2015. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

The GO and Find Your Hero! program requires you to search for up to 30 “autographs” of community heroes. These “autographs” are wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate onto your GO and Find Your Hero! rubbing page, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located at Richard M. Nixon County Park. GO York! level of difficulty = Hard

- From the parking lot walk to the bulletin board located in the flower bed in front of the building.
- From the bulletin board walk up the sidewalk across the parking lot to the wood steps. Walk up the wood steps and follow the hardwood trail up the hill.
- About halfway up the hill on the left will be an old stone foundation, check out the old stones and then continue up the trail.
- At the top of the hill make a left at the trail intersection on the Hardwood trail.
- At the next trail intersection make a left past the wood Nixon County Park sign.
- At the next Y in the trail make a left going past the wood sign. This is the Hardwood trail.
- Continue following the trail as it follows the ridge.
- After a short hill look for a Chestnut Oak tree that has three trunks. On the left side of the trail you will find the autograph.
- To return to your vehicle, remain on the Hardwood Trail.
 At the next intersection make a left. The trail should go down a hill after a short distance. Be careful as you go down the hill over the rocks.
 At the bottom of the hill make a left on the trail and continue back to the Nature Center and parking area.
