This letterbox is part of the GO and Find Your Hero! program in York County, PA. It will be available from May 30, 2015- August 16, 2015. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

The GO and Find Your Hero! program requires you to search for up to 30 “autographs” of community heroes. These “autographs” are wooden posts with engraved plates on them, instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate onto your GO and Find Your Hero! rubbing page, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located at William H. Kain County Park and may be accessed from the Lake Redman parking area. GO York! level of difficulty = Moderate

- From the parking lot walk toward the grey gazebo.
- Continue walking past the boat rentals and on to trail #3.
- On trail #3 the woods will be on your left and the lake will be on your right.
- At the first Y in the trail, follow the trail to the right along the lake.
- At the next intersection make a right. The trail will continue near the lake. Do you see any fish?
- After following the trail along the lake you will reach a grassy picnic area. Continue to walk across the grassy area onto trail #3. The lake should be on your right.
- After climbing a small hill, the trail will Y. Take the trail to the right to the big sign and overlook.
- At the overlook you will find the autograph. Enjoy the view for awhile and then turn around and head back out to the trail heading toward the grassy picnic area.
- Cross the grassy picnic area and continue out trail #3 along the lake.
- At the intersection, follow trail #3 to the left keeping the lake beside you on your left.
- The trail will then come out by the boathouse and the parking lot. Stop for a picnic or rent a boat if you want.
