This is Box #1 in a series celebrating the poetry of Shel Silverstein. I am making this series in hopes that people will remember the poems they loved as a kid and pass them on to their own children and grandchildren.
This will be ongoing so watch for more boxes added this summer.
Now, the clues...
Enjoy an afternoon at Paradise Springs!
Take the paved path to the left
You will then take the first small dirt path you come across going left only. A very quick walk and you will see a concrete bridge going over the top of the spring.
This is a great spot to sit and have a picnic! Enjoy the sounds of the spring moving beneath you in this out of the way spot.
You will want to walk to the end of the concrete bridge. Jump down onto the concrete slab below. You are now right by the spring and will see another concrete wall with old fallen trees on top.
This box was planted in spring so there may be some growth as the season progresses. BE CAREFUL where you step.
Your invitation is at the base of this concrete wall, covered with tree and rock.
Please hide well and use those legs and ab muscles getting back up the concrete bridge!
Try looking for box #2. It is also in Paradise Springs!
