This letterbox is dedicated to my Adventuring Friends. Congrats on your special day and I wish you many more adventures as you share your life together.
As you drive into the park, the check in house is on the right - go straight. Take the fork to the left, heading towards the large parking area on the left with a large Oak on the right. There’s a fireplace with seating on right hand side, go over the creek. Next is a campground sign on left, take the right road over the creek. After the creek there is an entrance to a hiking path with thirty scary stairs (The scary stairs are way more fun) and some new stairs. As you take this trail, there’s a trail marker on the right intersecting the path. A trail marker on the left. Roots cross the path. Up the trail there's a fork in the road with a hiking marker and May apples in front of it. Take the right hand path towards a large stump that has been cut. You'll pass one hydrant on the left. As you continue on the trail it seems to be divided with deciduous trees on the left and fir trees on the right. When you get to a white hiking marker and a fire hydrant take the path on the left that slants back the way that you were just coming. Travel along this path until you see three stumps on the left that are badly decayed and a fallen tree that has been cut to make room for the trail on the right. If you follow the right hand side of the fallen tree, go to where the foliage was on top of the tree. On the way there, you'll find a few Jack-in-the-pulpit and some May apples. Under the fork in the tree foliage is where the box is hidden.
