The person who placed this box wrote the clues in the autumn of 2012 (when there were no leaves on the trees) and the box was placed in the spring of 2015 (when there were no leaves on the trees). Due to the possibility of dangerous mosquitoes/snakes/fleas/ticks/humidity/solar radiation it is not known whether it is advisable to search for this box during the summer months, so those who choose to search during the summer (and run the risk of there being a snake sitting next to the ammunition box), do so at their own risk.

This is a 50 calibre ammunition box, a box which is located within the Appalachian Trail. Due to its massive size it contains frivolous trade items in the bottom and it contains a professionally-made rubber stamp (along with a logbook) in the very top. The stamp was designed (using such computer software as Microsoft Paint) to be relevant to the box's location, even though the stamp was not carved by hand.

Before setting out on this journey, it will be necessary for you to print a P.D.F. The link to the P.D.F. will be seen at the bottom of this L.B.N.A. webpage.

This box is hidden on a mountain and the name of the mountain is Anthony's Nose. In order to reach the box, you must walk away from Georgia and towards Maine. You must walk up Anthony's Nose until you reach a massive rock. As you look at this massive rock, you will see a blue rose painted on the rock (the person who placed this box DID NOT paint the rose; the rose already was there when they discovered the hiding spot in the evening of Saturday, November 17th, 2012). To the rose's right (your left), you will see two vertical white lines. These vertical white lines (lines made of paint) will serve as trail markers for the Appalachian Trail.

Keep right on walking toward Maine. The next trail marker will be seen on a tree. This trail marker is the key to finding the box. Take the P.D.F. out of your bookbag and follow the directions that appear in the P.D.F.

You will find that the box is hidden inside of a naturally occurring crevice in the mountainside. The box is NOT buried under a pile of rocks, however. It is buried under a pile of broken wood. Please rehide this box as carefully as possible (it can never be hidden too well). Thank you.
