Intersection of fourth and Commercial
Park in the Bruce Vento Nature Sanctuary parking lot and head for the large rock. Along the way stop and read, take time to enjoy the history.
Meander down the gravel path. Detour left to find the seating rocks... quit wasting time, this is no time for a break, your journey has just begun.
Walk to a fork... stay left and go around the bend. You will pass through a grove of trees and up a small hill. Another sign to read.
Find the rock spring flowing into a green stream then continue down the beaten trail or hop on rocks along your chosen path.
Lots of water you will find ... crossing the bridge to another fork. Continue your journey past the sand castles to the rock dock. Don't go back, alas it's time to follow the tracks.
See the bird houses around the ponds. Find the 4th one and continue on. Turn right at next available trail. Find a manhole cover then count 5 concrete sidewalks. Walk down the 5th one, another trail to be found. Trail left then trail right. On this trail through the trees walk beneath nature's mighty arch towards the prize. Still on the trail stop and see the bees, it's now time to search the trees. Your treasure site faces the bridge but you will have to be on bended knees to find Gnome's loft.
