You arrive at the park headquarters,
an inviting picnic spot across the street,
Beckoning you to visit
and promising a retreat.
But, make haste my fair friend,
For the treasure that you seek,
Is located to the south of the parking lot,
And a walk to the east.
Make your way toward the Holly Collection
Through the car lot ahead,
But stop at the staircase,
and proceed to the left instead.
You will find yourself on the Overlook Trail,
Winding east along this spoor,
You see a man made structure,
Marking your treasure afore.
Wind around the trail, walking only paces to the south,
Do not go past the junction of trails,
Instead, Stop. And, look about.
You are looking for a Portuguese Laurel Tree,
Though the nameplate isn’t so keen,
Look within the bowels of this mass,
and your treasure will soon be seen.
