Difficulty: Easy - 40 yards
After WWII, 65% of Texas hybrid corn seed was processed in Martindale, with more corn seed shipped from there than anywhere else in the world.
Directions:
From the Hwy 80 & FM 142 intersection, head toward San Marcos on Hwy 80. Turn right soon on FM 240 (cemetery sign) and go down this dirt road about a mile to Cemetery on the left. Pull in and park at back.
To the Letterbox:
Walk left to flat stone near fence for Bobby Burkson. Box is in front of middle area of tree next to this stone.
