The owner, Mark Thiede, named his café after his two felines, Bruno and Larry. Mark has provided a unique place for people/local groups to hold events or just hang out. Local artists’ works are on display and available for sale. This is a fun place to visit with lots of eclectic cat themed decor and delish food of course! If you’ve never been here before, you’ll be warmly welcomed and will want to return again and again. Mark is one of those people with the talent of remembering your name and greeting you like a long lost friend!
Clues: Walk into the cozy inner sitting area where the fireplace resides. [This part of the house was built in 1784 and the exposed wooden beams are impressive]. On the opposite wall to the left of the fireplace is an alcove. It contains a bookcase full of treasures. Cast your eye down to the lowest shelf on the left hand side to find your treasure. There are many little nooks and crannies with all kinds of interesting items throughout the area. Be sure to relax and make yourself home while enjoying a hot beverage, a cup of soup, or one of their custom made sandwiches. They also offer freshly baked goods for those with a sweet tooth. Loitering is definitely encouraged here!
