Hermann Park was presented to the City of Houston by George Hermann in 1914, and is now Houston's most historically significant public green space. Nestled in between the Museum District, the Texas Medical Center and Rice University it serves as a conveniant recreational destination. Some of the attractions include: Natural Science Museum, zoo, gardens, a train, Miller Outdoor Theater, golf course and Urban Forest trails in the Bayou Parkland near the Bill Coats Bridge, where this box is located.

Directions:
From Hwy 288 go west on S. MacGregor Way to Almeda Rd. Go left for about 0.5 mile and turn right into parking lot for Bayou Parkland Pavilion.

Clues:
From the pavilion walk to the cement trail along the bayou and go right to just before Bill Coats Bridge. Go right then left to gravel path leading into the Urban Forest. Continue across 2 boardwalks to Y jct and go left into center of an open area surrounded by logs with stack of rocks in middle. Go northwest at 330 degrees for 33 steps across mounds of dirt and rocks to a tree at edge of forest with a 3 foot hollow cement pipe behind it. Letterbox is within right side behind a rock.
