Greenbo Lake State Resort Park
This 'buffalo' is one of many that dot the landscape around the Hanging Rock Iron Region. Cache/letterbox is a cammo taped mini-box. I left a Travel Bug for that lucky first finder.
Directions: Greenbo Lake is located south of Greenup, Ky (U.S. 23) off Kentucky State Route 1.
Clues: When you enter the park look for the ruins of a large iron ore furnace on the left side of the road and a historical marker on the right. Park at the small parking areanear the marker. Stand in front of the north side of the marker and take a compass reading of 322ยบ. Go 21 paces(1 pace = 2 steps) in this direction till you reach a large multi-trunked tree. Look in the middle of the base.
