From I-10 in Junction, go south on US Highway 377 for 5 miles to Park Road 73 on the left. Proceed to the park office and pay $4.00 entry fee. Directly across from the office is a small red barn with an entry road marked "Day Use Area" and "Turkey Roost". Follow road to first parking area. Park next to the blue disabled space. Take hike/bike trail in front of you for 145 paces. The turkey is roosting at the base of the tall pole in the middle of the wood fence. Beware of stickers and watch for snakes. This area is visible from where you parked so move further down the trail to stamp your book. Please rehide as described.
