* WARNING *
This is a rocky area. There may be snakes, so be careful. I have done this walk MANY times, and have never once seen a snake, but better safe than sorry - so don't reach your hand in any small holes/crevasses. Also, check that rocks are steady before you step. Some can be a bit wobbly.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Starting on Cascade Street (the main street running through Sisters), turn South on Elm Street. You'll stay on this road as it leaves town, going into the Deschutes National Forest. Right as you're leaving town, there will be a sign on the right saying "Deschutes National Forest". From this sign, drive 5.0 miles on Forest Road 16 (AKA Three Creeks Road, which is what Elm Street turns into once you enter the forest). Turn right into a small dirt parking area.

CLUES
Start your walking adventure on road 442. Walk, and don't veer right.

When you come to a major fork in the road, continue on the path that is at 300 degrees.

Don't take the split after the fork. Keep straight.

The road ends. Find the trail north of you. Right or left? Go the "correct" way.

Off the trail to your left will be a small pile of rocks. Walk to this.

From here, look up the hill. There is a larger boulder pile a bit to the left and uphill of you. Walk towards it.

As you approach the pile, follow the rocky path on the north side of the mound. Keep going up towards the even larger rock "mountain". Aim for the juniper tree triangle.

Find the largest boulder in the middle of the triangle. Here you will find your treasure!

From here, you should go a little further o the summit - it's such an incredible view! You'll be happy you did.
