History:
mall-hall-of-fame.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html

The mall opened between 1975 and 1976. It is currently home to 121 stores and 12 kiosks. It designed to be home to a maximum of 175 stores. The mall was renovated in 2008. Changes and additions included in the renovations included: new lighting (including skylights), new flooring (including Italian porcelain floors), a new west side entrance, a food court and new parking lot lighting. The Promenade at Millcreek Mall, speciality stores in the mall accessible only by their own outdoor entrances, were also added.

The property also includes a number of smaller complexes, called Mill Creek Pavilion, as well as stand-alone restaurants and hotels.

The original building of Millcreek Mall is shaped like a gun pointed at the courthouse. Popular lore states that the mall was originally owned by the mafia, and that this design was intentional. This is unconfirmed.

Nice quick easy drive by box.

Go to the building that used to house the old Dollar Theater. For those of you that do not what building this is, simply look for an abandoned building North of the mall. You can drive behind this building. Look for a fire department hose hook up on the wall. With your back to the building at this spot, walk directly to the wooded area. You should see the entrance to a path at this point. The letterbox is behind a bowling ball sized stone about 5 feet from the edge of the pavement.
