We have seen the Desert Big Horn Sheep all along this scenic by-way. Be sure to watch for them.
Take Hwy 191 up past the mine, and pull into the scenic view parking lot, staying to the right. Note the flat-top tree at the end of the parking lot. Boulders line the parking area in front of the fence to the look-out. From the far corner of the fence at this end, count 4 fence posts. Between post 4 & 5 are a pair of boulders. The larger one is flat-ish and diamond shaped. The smaller one is much ligher in color. Between these boulders, at the base of the larger one is a hole, with smaller rocks hiding the tiny black pouch. Quick Grab - there is no logbook.
Please be discreet and re-hide the pouch well with the rocks.
