I carved this stamp in honor of my first 5K race. The race was called My Dogs Are Barking and the proceeds went to benefit the Bedford Humane Society. It was a really unique race because people have the option of running with their dogs. I don't have a dog, but it was still a cool race. I think the year I ran may have been the first one. The starting line was at The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, so that's where I put the box, more or less. The farm itself is pretty cool, and I bet it'd be fun for kids.
To find the box, go to The Educational Farm at Joppa Hill, which is on Joppa Hill Rd in Bedford. There's a sign for the farm and a grassy area you can park in. Cross the street to a small lot. When I planted this box, there were big piles of rocks and sand in the lot. You'll see a sign that says 'All Pets Must Be On A Leash' There is a tree to the right with another sign that says 'No Hunting' and 'No Parking' Behind the tree, under a rock is where the letterbox is.
I would much rather hide the box on the actual farm, but I haven't had a chance to ask them yet, so for now, these are the directions. I hope to move it before winter. Please re-hide well.
