Rest “STOP” -- A letterbox with rhyming clues, at Route 89 southbound rest stop, just past exit 10. Mile marker 26. (Sadly, as of Sept. 2023, this rest area is "closed for the season" but it looks like work is being done. Maybe you can visit when the rest area reopens.)
Finding this box should take less than 5 minutes. (Make it a two-fer by hunting for LbNA #19159, The Rare Rainbow Snail placed by Team New Hampshire, also at this rest stop.)
Fill in the blanks in the rhyming couplets below. Within each pair of lines, the last words rhyme. Begin in the parking lot, facing the woods. For all clock-face directions below, stand with your back to the parking lot.

On a two-legged object made of .
Later you will seek its mate,
So count its sides: there will be .
Then go back to the picnic spot.
Your back is toward the parking .
To further test your hunting skill,
Face two o'clock and go .
Continue straight until you meet
The object's twin. Rest, have a .
While sitting, see at two o'clock
A tree atop a big split .
Seventeen steps and you will be
Beside the rock and light gray .
The gap between the cloven rocks
Is where you'll find our __ .
