This box is a Fathers Day present for our dad who was born and raised in Louisiana. Our dad was the person that introduced us to letterboxing, so we thought we could repay him by dedicating a box to him!
Enter the E.B. Clark woods using the Schirmer Parkway entrance and follow the paved trail. You will pass a swinging bench where you can sit down to enjoy the view, but be warned that it is very uncomfortable! A pavilion lies beyond the bench. Continue on the trail. Where the trail splits, take the unpaved path straight. A light barked tree with “Gavin” written on it will be to your left. Continue forward. A very tall tree stands in the center of the path. Stay to the right of the tree making sure you don't fall down the drop off. Continue along the edge and find the rooted staircase. Rob + Mary guard the treasure in the back of the tree. Be sure to re-hide well!
