To find the Water Life Stamp letterbox, first arrive at the Blackstone Gorge parking lot and walk down to the Roaring Dam viewing area. When you are facing the water, off to your left, there should be 2 paths splitting at the end of the fence. Take the one to the right of the large rock closest to the river. About 13 steps later, there should be a fork. Take the path to the right, going down to the river. Continue going this path that is closest to the river and after a couple of minutes you should reach two separate ledge walls. Keep walking past the first one and stop when you reach the beginning of the second one. Look under the first rock of the second ledge and hidden fairly deep under the rock should be the letterbox. Make sure to put it back together neatly and re-hide well.
To find the Flood! Stamp letterbox, continue along the main path closest to the water (See Water Life Stamp directions). After a couple of minutes, you should see a man-made rock wall; probably someone’s property line or what could have acted as the border between Rhode Island and Massachusetts when Blackstone was a small colony or even before for the Natives. Step over the wall, turn around, and you should see that a Mountain Loral plant is sticking out of one of the main rocks you just stepped over. There should be a pretty deep hole going into the rock wall. Push the plant aside and reach into the gap of the wall where it is growing, and you should feel the Flood! Stamp letterbox.
You shouldn’t be able to see this letterbox because the cave isn’t straight back, so you’ll have to feel for it! Make sure you put it back together neatly and re-hide well and push the container back deep into the hole where you found it.
