Hello and thanks for choosing to search for our Letterboxes.
This series is all about Mario Characters from Nintendo. We recommend Red and pink Ink for your stamps. The pink is for the last 4 stamps in this series.

First enter at the main entrance of Central park in Union, KY off Camp Ernst Rd.
Follow the road until it comes to a T just past the Tennis courts and turn right.
Shortly after there is a parking lot to the left.
Pull in there. The Arboretum information station is right there on the path and a large rock plaque stating the park was dedicated in May 2, 1999.

Please make sure all the letterboxes are hidden well after finished. Thanks.

Box 1.
Once on the path turn right and follow it for a short distance until you see a sign for a INVASIVE PLANT AWARENESS TRAIL.
Turn left onto the trail and read the first sign.
Just behind the sign you will see a sideways tree. Reach inside for your first letter box. Please Put back carefully so it won't be detected easily.

Box 2.
Follow the small path to the next sign that reads, "How invading plants take over a Forest"
Directly across from this sign on the left of the path is a group of trees. The letterbox is on the ground behind the one in the middle.

Box 3.
Your Next sign will era, "Tip of the iceberg and Longterm Impacts of Invading Plants" Shortly after you pass those two signs you will see a smaller sign that states. " In April 2011 Volunteers..."
Count 12 steps and look right. There are 2 large trees slightly off the path on the right.
Look behind the smaller of the two trees for your next Letterbox on the ground.

Box 4.
Continue down the path over a small wooden bridge. Once you cross the bridge count 10 steps and look to your left. There is a tree stomp with your fourth find inside.

Box 5.
Now walk all the way till your path T's into another path. Go left over the larger bridge and then Right over the smaller bridge. Just after you exit the second bridge you will see a large tree on the left. The letterbox is on the ground beside the tree.

Exit the trail by turning around and crosses over both bridges and following the trail to the open area. There you will meet up with the paved walking/running trail.
Turn Left and continue on trail until you spy the Hickory Trail Sign on your Right.
If you past the Union Garden Club sign, turn around and the trail is right there:)

Enter the trail and walk until you meet the Sign for the Woodland Trail for the Eagle Scout.

Box 6.
Just beside the sign on the right side are three trees grouped together. About three feet from the ground you will see your first Letterbox on this trail.
Once finish secure her tightly and continue on the path until you reach the split in the road.
GO LEFT.

Box 7.
Walk all the way until you reach a bridge. Now look left on the ground and read the sign for the Spice Bush. Look around this bush and Logs to find a Toad!!!
Now travel over the bridge and turn left at the split.

Box 8.
You are now starting to walk up a hill when you spy a very tall/round tree with some issues at the base on your right side. Right in front of that tree is a skinnier tree with a pile of bark at the base. Dig around for your next box. Hopefully you don't hurt any flowers while digging around.
After hiding it securely under the bark walk up to the top of the hill and stop where the hill flattens out.

Box 9.
On your right, you will notice a balance beam for squirrels and other creatures to play on. There is a group of three trees that help support the beam on the left side. At the base of the two larger trees is where you will find a sweet Peach of stamp.

Once finished you can continue for a short bit on the path. There you will have to make a decision go left or straight. Left will take you two an open area with different interesting trees to take in and then the Main path. You will turn right onto the Main path if you choose this route and then left when you meet the next decision and it takes you back to where you parked. If you choose straight it will take you back to the bridge and then you can find your way back to the path from there.

We are very happy that you choose to hunt for our stamps. Thanks for searching!!!
Happy Hunting.
