Arrrrr mateys!

We introduce to you the first of the upcoming "Lenore Series."
You don't know who Lenore is? Well, here is a brief background of her.
Lenore is the "cute little dead girl" created by Roman Dirge. He fashioned Lenore from Edgar Allen Poe's "Lenore." Check out www.spookyland.com for more info about Roman and his "cute little dead girl" comics.

Okay. Back to the letterbox! We are both Lenore fans and wanted to create a series of stamps around her. Lenore can be quite the fashionista. One of our favorites is her pirate costume. We took that as a great stamp idea, but where to put her?

We found out that Lake Erie has its own history of pirates!
Follow this link to read a brief article about Lake Erie's own pirates!

So, lo and behold, we found a wonderful first stop for Pirate Lenore!

Clues:

1. Arrrrrrr matey! Board ye 4-wheeled ship and steer it to the "Nutty River" access.
2. Keep yon river on ye port side.
3. Pilot through the 4-wheeled ship dry dock on ye starboard side.
4. Keep starboard until ye come upon a red "pieces of 8" sign. It's customary to STOP at these "pieces of 8!"
5. Continue forward, matey.
6. Steer ye 4-wheeled ship starboard. Anchor at the end of the very most starboard 4-wheeled dry dock.
7. Ye be seein' the Eerie Lake in front of ye!
8. Pace with ye peg legs across the green 33 paces until ye come upon sand.
9. See 2 groups of magical 6-sided stones. Choose the one on ye starboard side.
10. When standing on the magic stone, look starboard and see the "Nutty River" sign.
11. In that direction, use ye peg legs again to pace 130 steps.
12. Ye be at a large stone plank! Walk it all the way to the wet end, lubber!
13. Now do an aboutface and spy a white building. Walk toward the building.
14. Notice the open port hole. Stand in the frame, if ye dare! WARE THE SPIDERWEBS!!!
15. Face a small stone wall and count off 21 paces toward it.
16. Where 2 becomes 1, spy under a tree. BURIED 6 FEET UNDER.....wait... no...buried 3 inches down lies the treasure ye seek, matey!

Stamp is homemade and hand-carved! Hope you enjoyed Lenore's first adventure! Happy Treasure Hunting!

There is a "Doubloon" for the First Finder!!!
