Take the Quaker Area Exit off from I-86. Park in the parking lot at Quaker Lake. Find the sign Program Site 57.Find the path to the left of sign. Start on path. Start moving to the left sort of parallel with the road about 20-40 yards from the road. The road will be on your left.Be looking for a concrete obelisk shaped NY marker.Go to the marker.From the parking lot to the marker was about 165 steps more or less for short people.Keep walking in that direction and be looking for a tree that has a large flat stone at its base and touching the tree. The stone is actually a petrified tree stump. This is about 40 steps for us.Take about another 23 steps.Look for it on the ground behind a tree. Please bring ink stamp and cover it well.
