Camp Sienna is a park in Sienna Plantation which provides recreational opportunities and a trail to a canoe/kayak launch point on the Brazos River, which is part of the Brazos River Paddling Trail. This box is dedicated to those hearty soles that partake of this hobby.
Directions:
From Hwy 59, exit Hwy 6 and go south for approximately 6 miles to Sienna Parkway. Turn right and go about 3 miles to Scanlan Trace. Turn right and go about 1 mile to Camp Sienna Trail. Turn right and go another mile to Camp Sienna. Go left at the round-about and park at the far south end in lot #11 by the basketball court.
Clues:
Walk on gravel path past the basketball court to trail sign about canoe launch. Continue into woods to Y jct with trail map and go left to wood bridge. Go left off trail 22 steps, stepping over fallen dead tree, to medium tree with vine on it. Microbox is at back base under sticks and leaves.
