GO and Experiment! - Sound LbNA #66937 (ARCHIVED)

Through the GO and Experiment! program, you will be searching for "scientific terms" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into your GO and Experiment! rubbing page, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located at P. Joseph Raab County Park. GO York level of difficulty = Hard

 From the gravel parking lot, walk past the yellow gate and follow trail #1. This should be a grassy trail between a field and trees.
 Continue on trail #1 as it meanders along the woods and the edge of the field.
 Remain on trail #1 down the big hill, keeping the trees on your left and the field on your right.
 About a quarter of the way down the hill, turn left on trail #2 and enter the woods.
 At the first intersection you reach, turn to the right and follow the trail downhill past the wood fence.
 Continue until you arrive at the bottom of the hill. The post you seek should be on your left.
 To return to your vehicle, turn right when facing the creek and follow the trail to the field.
 Walk up the hill and continue on trail #1 the whole way back to the parking lot.
