This letterbox is part of the GO and Experiment! program. It will be available from June 1, 2014 - August 17, 2014. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

Through the GO and Experiment! program, you will be searching for "scientific terms" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into your GO and Experiment! rubbing page, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located at Codorus State Park and may be accessed from the Sinsheim Road parking area. GO York level of difficulty = Moderate

 Start your adventure at the wooden bulletin board and the post with the different fish species.
 Walk to the right and follow the trail that goes into the brush toward the top of the hill.
 Continue following the trail as it goes through the brush and woods.
 At the first intersection, continue walking straight.
 At the next intersection, continue walking straight up a slight hill.
 Continue following the trail straight ahead past the field and into the woods again. You will start to get slightly downhill.
 Remain on the same trail until it crosses a small creek. You will then need to take a hard left. The post should be nearby.
 Return to your vehicle the same way – cross the creek, walk up the hill and follow the trail back to the parking area.
