This letterbox is part of the GO and Experiment! program. It will be available from June 1, 2014 - August 17, 2014. Further details about the program may be found at www.goyork.org.

Through the GO and Experiment! program, you will be searching for "scientific terms" – wooden posts with engraved plates on them – instead of a traditional letterbox and stamp. Please carefully rub the impression from the engraved plate into your GO and Experiment! rubbing page, available at any York County library.

The letterbox is located along the Hollow Creek Greenway. GO York level of difficulty = Easy

 From the parking lot, locate and walk between the two yellow posts.
 Stay on the gravel trail for a short distance until it reaches the road.
 Look both ways and carefully cross the road.
 Continue on the gravel trail until you reach a cement bridge. After stopping to look for any fish, cross the bridge and continue on the trail.
 When you reach a yellow gate and dirt road, again carefully cross the road and walk over to the next yellow gate.
 After walking about 100 yards (roughly the length of a football field) on the gravel trail, you should reach another cement bridge.
 The post you seek should be attached to the wooden fence on your right, just before the bridge.
 To return to your vehicle, turn around and head back the way you came.
